Resin & Rye Barley American Barley Wine
We love west coast IPA in the brewery and have spent over a decade working out the perfect recipe in our mind for beers like our famous Foam & Fury DIPA. We want that resin that we always loved in the OG California IPA and then layered with rich hops, no flabbyness or excess sugars. With Barley wine we made a similar approach but obviously with a little more sweetness but still loads of rich layered hops. American style barley wine is a wonderful style that is a due a comeback in our eyes.
Headbrewer “Resin & Rye is an American style Barleywine. Brewed with Maris Otter, Rye Malt & Crystal Malts. Hopped heavily with two of our favourite old school classic hops Colombus & Chinook. We brewed this resinous beast to mark the 1000th brew at our Oranmore Brewery. Resin, Rye & a touch of caramel sweetness, all bolstered by a firm, bitter finish. A dream fire side sipper. Drink fresh or Age cold.’
Richer Sounds West Coast DIPA
A big West coast style IPA brewed on a base of Maris otter with kiss of crystal malt for a clean but satisfying base. Hopped heavily throughout the boil and whirlpool with mosaic, eukanot and Talus before double dry hopping with the same again. This West coast IPA hits all the right chords. Dank, tropical and proper bitterness, Drink fresh!
