Description
As the long nights creep in we turn to one of our most comforting lager recipes. This smoked lager harks back to the classic recipes of Bamberg in Germany. A copper coloured lager brewed with 50% Beechwood smoked malt, Pilsner, Munich and Caramunich malts, alongside hops grown in the Hallertau region of Bavaria. The sturdy but crisp base of malts gives the beer a wonderful smooth finish with warming smoke complimenting the caramel tones.
